Greetings & blessings,

 

            Hope to see you this Sunday at 6 pm for worship.  Our speaker
this week in our "real life" series is FCPD officer Kim Cochran.  This is an
informal time for your to ask questions -- I suggested to Kim that she start
off with "What should I do when I'm stopped?"  (Thanks to Brian Johnson,
financial advisor, for his help last Sunday!)  Stay for dinner @ 7 pm:  grad
student and master chef Dave Matthews will serve a Chinese & Hawai'ian
feast.  You're always welcome to bring friends.

 

            I'm enjoying staffing the "Talk to a pastor" table in the Flea
Market @ LSC on Thursdays ~ lunchtime.  Thanks for coming by today, Robyn
and Rebecca!

 

            Will you be going to the mountains with ECM next Sunday (Sept
30)?  We'll leave from St Paul's @ noon for John Roberts' cabin near Estes.
We'll enjoy a cookout on the deck, with time for you to 1) hang out, 2)
study, or 3) walk around in nature.  We'll plan to be back by 6 pm.  Please
let me know, so that we can plan for food.  And your friends are welcome
too.

 

            And I hope you can come for the U2charist on Saturday Sept 29 @
5 pm.  Matt Rogers, PhD, will once again plan the music & create the
PowerPoint.  The offering will go to Bread for the World.  Plan to come, and
bring friends, to this sing-along dance-along worship service!

 

            Enjoy the weather -- snow can't be too far off!
