Summer blessings!

Whether you're in the Fort or not, I hope your endeavors are
fruitful and refreshing. If you're in town, I hope you'll come by St Paul's
on Sunday afternoon. As you'll see below, we'll have a potluck picnic
beginning @ 5, and a concert by Heartsounds beginning @ 7. Local guitarist
Michael Bennett will open the show.

Heartsounds

Jonathan & Deborah Hutchison have been Christian recording and
concert artists for 30 years. They will make a special concert appearance
at St Pauls on Sunday, July 1, at 7 pm. A $5 donation is suggested.

Heartsounds is a unique mix of styles and sounds, from folk to
gospel, classical to jazz, rock to rhythm & blues, featuring trademark vocal
harmonies accompanied on guitar, flute and piano. Songs of hope and
celebration encourage listeners to join in.

Matthews will host dinner. Beverages, place settings & BBQ pork sandwiches
will be provided. Please bring a side dish, vegetarian main dish or dessert
to share. Also, bring along your picnic blanket or lawn chairs. Phone Judy

I've attached a poster - please post it if you've got a good spot.

The ECM committee & I are making plans for the fall semester. Do
you have ideas, things you want to do? Please let me know soon. I've just
returned from the Episcopal College Chaplains Conference in Seattle. Lots
of great ideas and experiences. And I got to meet our Presiding Bishop
Katharine Jefferts Schori! Pretty cool.

I'm here over the summer - drop me a line, let me hear from you!

Yours in Christ,

Rob+
