Subject: Taize Pilgrimage 2007
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I want to let you know about a college student and young adult pilgrimage to
Taizé, France that EMCUB (Episcopal Ministries to CU Boulder) is leading May
18-29, 2007. We will celebrate Pentecost at the monastery of Taizé with
thousands of other young adults.
You can find links to the application materials here:
http://www.emcub.org/index_files/Page1155.htm or a .pdf file of the forms
(and additional information) is attached for you to use.
We invite young adults and college students from other Episcopal churches to
go. They must be active in their churches (or campus ministries). Young
adults (those with actual day-jobs) will pay the full cost ($1400). Students
will be supported with grant funding so the cost for each student will be
$400.
This is primarily a college focused pilgrimage, so we will defer to college
students first, and have young adults (under 29) go if there is room.
College students will be the majority of participants. The deadline for
applying is February 20, and a deposit (non refundable) is due at that time:
$200 for students and $400 for young adults. The full cost must be paid in
full by April 20, 2007.
Venite exultemus!
