[ecm] ECM news for the end of April...

          Final lap!  I hope all is proceeding well toward completion of
your semester.

 

          Congratulations to Sarah Beetch, Matt Rogers, Eric Potter & Matt
Hogoboom, all of whom are graduating from CSU next month!  Please let me
know if I've left you off this august list.

 

 

          Our final Sunday evening program & dinner is this week, April 29.
Come at 5 pm and laugh along as we watch "The Simpsons:  Bart sells his
soul" and talk about the theological ramifications.  Dinner @ 6 will be BBQ
ribs prepared by master chef Dave Matthews, whose cooking we've enjoyed
throughout the year.  Many thanks, Dave!

 

          Next Wednesday will be our last weekday student-led service until
August.  Bill Snyder will give the homily and Matt Rogers will bring his
band!  We keep worship loose & informal, fun & inspired.  Hope to see you
here.

 

          I'm seeking a Student Assistant for the fall --  4 flexible
hours/week, helping to organize and lead the Episcopal Campus Ministries for
students & young adults.  Please get in touch if you want more info.

 

          Exam Week Open House - May 6 - 9, from 7 - 11 pm each night
(Sunday thru Wednesday).  A quiet place to study, w/ snacks & beverages,
wifi, and an open chapel.  Bring along your friends.

 

                    And in the fall (if you're coming back to the Fort.)
we'll have our annual "Mass on the Grass) at 10 am on the day before classes
begin.  Great music (usually Fantazia, the Brazilian Jazz ensemble led by
our organist Monty Hogan) and a free lunch follows.  Sunday, August 19.

 

 

          I hope you've got your summer plans in place - see below for
another opportunity if you haven't.
