[ecm] grad study on college Christians

Hi there!

 

My name is Bonnie Poon Zahl, and I am a graduate student at the University
of Cambridge.  I am looking for people from the class of 2005, 2006, 2007,
and 2008 to take part in an online study. Specifically, I am looking for
people who are Christians, or were Christians during their college years.

 

My research looks at the changes faced by young adults after they leave
university. The first few years after college can be quite challenging: new
friendships and relationships, a new job, a new church...these can be
intense changes! This is the first study of its kind that looks at how
Christian young adults feel about their lives after they graduate, and how
their faith factors into it.

Just some information about myself: I was an undergraduate at Harvard
University, where I was a leader in the Campus Crusade ministry and led
worship at church. I have worked for a number of Christian non-profits
around Asia, and I am now living in Cambridge with my husband.

 

The study involves filling in an online questionnaire three times a year
over the next 2.5 years. The questionnaire will ask about how you are
feeling about your life at that point, and should take between 35-45 minutes
to complete. This study has been approved by the Cambridge Psychology
Research Ethics Committee.
