Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

Enjoying the fall weather yet? Pamela & I got up to
Breckenridge this past weekend – about a foot of snow on the ground! Skiing
& boarding can’t be too far into the future now

Hey, what a great time at Dave Matthews’ kitchen on the 17th!
Pot stickers, won-tons, homemade coconut ice-cream, and much much more –
both filling & informative (he made us all cook). Thanks so much, Dave!

Here are a couple of opportunities for you:

* Help lead worship at the Diocese of Colorado Convention October 6 (5
pm) & 7 (noon). These are 10-minute services that help keep the delegates
focussed on the reason for gathering. I could use a musician or 2 for these
devotions
. This is our first opportunity in years to put campus ministry @
CSU front & center in front of our Diocese. Don’t let the CU-Boulder folks
hog the spotlight! (a little friendly rivalry
) I’ve also got dinner
invitations for students who would like to dine with Convention keynote
speaker Nathan Dungan on Friday, Oct 6 in Denver. Nathan Dungan is the
president and founder of Share-Save-Spend™ an organization that helps people
of all ages develop and maintain healthy financial habits. Check out see
www.sharesavespend.com <http://www.sharesavespend.com/> Dinner is courtesy
of the Colorado Episcopal Foundation. Please let me know ASAP is you’d like
to get on board or if you have questions!

* What do you think about ECM sponsoring a blood drive at and for St
Paul’s? I’ve got info, and I think it would be a pretty cool service
project. Please let me know

I look forward to seeing you this Wednesday at the CSU library
lobby between 9:15 – 10:15 am for “God & Coffee”

This Saturday, Oct 30 – Got Episcopal? I’ll lead an all-day
(lunch included) Inquirers’ Class. If you want to be confirmed or received
into the Episcopal Church, or if you just want to know more about it, call
482-2668 & register.

And plan on kicking back this coming Sunday afternoon – we’ll
have a mountain getaway to Prof. John Roberts’ cabin up towards Estes.
Please call 482-2668 to reserve a spot for you & a friend. We’ll cook out &
St Paul’s will provide the meat & drinks. You bring snacks, OK? This is
always a great way to get away for a few hours, talk & play & eat. We’ll
carpool from the church around noon & get back by 6 PM.

And @ 7 PM on Wednesday, Oct 4 – Blessing of the Animals. It’s
just what it sounds like. Bring yours if you like! We celebrate the feast
of St Francis of Assisi with this event every year

And please don’t forget the visit by Taizé brothers Leandro &
John on Friday, Oct 13! Meet informally with them @ 10 AM, and worship at
both 2 & 4:30 PM.

Blessings on your studies, your relationships, your leisure and
your family!

In Christ,

Rob+
