Hello Everyone!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous fall in school, work, and all of your
other endeavors. I just wanted to fill you all in on all of the exciting
events that ECM has planned for the next couple of months.
First off, we have a college dinner planned for October 29th (this Sunday)
from 5-7pm at the Church. It will be a fun filled evening complete with a
fabulous dinner and pumpkin carving! Come join the festivities!
The next big event is our U2churist. This will be on Thursday November 16th
at 7pm, it will be held in the North Ballroom of the Lory Student Center. It
is a night of worship U2 style!
Then, in December our friends at the neighboring Lutheran Church have invited
us to their Funky Formal. It will be held on December 2, at 7pm more details
to follow. On Dec. 3rd we will have another ECM dinner from 5-7p. The
location and theme of this dinner have yet to be decided.
Our newest exciting event is our college/young adult services that we are
holding every other Wednesday. The next one is scheduled for this upcoming
Wednesday the 25th, the service will begin with Qi Gong at 6:15, and will
continue with a meditation and a walk in the labyrinth (weather permitting).
We will finish with stone soup for supper so bring your favorite canned good,
or fresh vegetable to add to the pot! There will be a special service
November 1, for All Saints Day beginning at 7pm the following Wednesday. Come
check it out because it’s a service made for you!
We are continuing God and Coffee Wednesday mornings at 9:15a in the Morgan
Library Lobby. The next one is this Wednesday October 25th. Come and hang
out with Father Rob and other students it’s a nice break between classes, or
if you’re a late riser it’s a great way to start your day! It’s a BYOC (bring
your own coffee/tea) event, so grab you drink and come join us!
	The final event is the Celebrate! Conference that is happening in December;
its an event for college students of different denominations to gather
together for worship. It starts the 28th of Dec. and continues to the 1st of
Jan. it will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. It only happens every four
years so take advantage of this amazing opportunity. There will be music,
worship, fun, and even a day of work to help Katrina victims. Please let me
know if you are interested and Ill give you more details. Father Rob and I
are gathering funds together so please don’t let money be an issue!!
Well, that is all for now, I hope you all have a wonderful week. Please email
me with any questions or concerns.

God’s Peace,
Sarah
