Hi!
What a wonderful day it is, try to get some sunshine before it starts
raining!
We had a great worship, meal & conversation last Sunday night. St Pauls
member Dick Woolley & team made some delicious Reuben sandwiches w/ fixins.
President Sarah Beetch update on what we need to do as a now official
CSU-recognized student organization! Officers are needed, and Sidney &
Kelly offered to serve next year. Those who didnt hurry off to see the
Frays attempted to walk the labyrinth to the west of St Pauls, but it was
quite cold and the wind kept blowing out our candles. Oh well

And from another campus org:
On behalf of the Cesar Chavez planning committee CoPIRG student chapters
would like to encourage your organization to help us in the final week of
the Cesar Chavez clothing drive. Presently we have received many articles
of clothing from the CSU and Fort Collins community that will go to benefit
the migrant worker community of Northern Colorado through the Sunrise
Community Health Center in Greeley. However, the entire needs of Northern
Colorado's migrant community remain mostly unknown which leads us to believe
that our responsibility ought to be to get the most clothes that we can
donated.
Please encourage your organization's members to help us by making social
justice their responsibility by taking the time to drop off their unwanted
clothes at one of the many collection boxes on campus. We have three boxes
in the Lory Student Center, one in El Centro, one in the SLCE office, and
one near the student organizations office. Additionally we have collection
boxes in the library and throughout the various residence halls. Your
organization's help will certainly be appreciated by some of those that you
depend upon for such essential services as the food you eat or the houses
that you live in. Finally if members of your organization would like to
become more informed about the social issues involving migrant workers in
Colorado please attend the Cesar Chavez Day Celebration at noon in the LSC
commons or at 5pm in the LSC North Ballroom.
Sincerely,
Brian Rose
