If you’re not in the Fort then you may not be enjoying 102° temps right now


 

Some notes for you if you are in town this summer:

 

St Paul’s will hold a U2charist at 5 PM on Saturday, July 15.  This is the
sing-along dance-along worship utilizing the lyrics of Bono and the music of
U2.  It’ll be different, and I’m sure it will be fun.  Would you like to
help put this on?  Please drop me a line.

 

On Friday, October 13, an ecumenical group of churches and chaplaincies will
host the visit of a brother from the Taizé community in France.  The first
planning meeting is next Tuesday at Plymouth UCC on Prospect.  Since 1 of
the 3 goals of the community is to reach 17-29 year olds, I wonder if you
would be interested and willing to help make this event a great success.

Great news – the Episcopal Campus Ministry @ St Paul’s has received a $2000
grant for the coming year.  This more than doubles the $1500 St Paul’s
designates for campus and young adult ministry from the annual budget, and
it comes from the Front Range Region of Episcopal Churches.  Thanks to Steve
Simske for writing the outstanding grant request!

 

Could you help ECM staff a table at RAM Night this August?  I’ll try to get
some good give-aways
  PLMK, OK?

 

Hey, if you are in town this summer, please let me know.  We ought to be
able to put together a trip to Water World, or a movie night, or a cook-out,
or whatever
 if there is any interest.  Write or call.

 

And if you’re getting this far away via the miracle of the internet – I hope
you’re having the absolute best summer possible!  Send me a picture or 2.
