You are invited to dinner at A-Young and Robert Woody’s home
this Sunday evening. This is the monthly gathering to share a meal and
company. Please meet at St Paul’s @ 5 PM – we’ll carpool over A-Young &
Robert’s home, and be back to St Paul’s no later than 7:30 PM. Call
482-2668 to let the office know you’ll be coming – we want to make sure
there is enough food! I understand it will be a Korean feast…

We had a lot of fun bowling last Sunday evening – Eric, Kelly,
Charles, Sarah, Joanna and Elyse joined me for a couple of games at Chippers
on Horsetooth. Pictures should be up on our site soon

Next Thursday, May 4, we will convene “God & Coffee” in the
library lobby at 9:45 AM. No agenda – just drop by & chat.

On Saturday, May 6, John Roberts has again graciously invited us
up to his mountain cabin for a cook-out & hang-out time. This might be a
good retreat just before exam week… Meet at St Paul’s @ Noon that day.
Call 482-2668 to reserve your burger, dog or veggie-patty.

And Exam Week Open House will run from 7 – 11 PM each night from
Sunday, May 7 thru Wednesday, May 11. We keep Bacon Hall extra quiet &
well-lit, w/ snacks & beverages to suit the most discerning palate. The
library is open for less-quiet pursuits, and the church will be open for
your sacred conversation. This is one to bring your friends – it’s a
ministry of St Paul’s to all students.

A couple things are cooking for the fall:

A visit in October from 2 brothers of Taizé. I’ll
be working with an ecumenical group to offer a day of prayer, worship &
visiting with these folks from the monastery in France. Let me know how
you’d like to be involved.

U2charist. Like the music? Wondering how it works
in worship? I think we’ll be able to hold one of those in the fall, perhaps
on campus. Stay tuned…

An blessings upon your completions and beginnings in this
season. If I don’t see you to wish it to you in person, have a blast this
summer! Make a difference, say your prayers, and give thanks to God in all
things!

Yours in the Name of the Risen Christ,

                        Rob+

PS. On a personal note, my wife Pamela and I are going to
Asheville, NC, this week to see our 20-year-old son Nathan in the starring
role of Pippin at Warren Wilson College. Want a peek?

Greetings from Episcopal Relief and Development! I wanted to let you know
the deadline has been extended (to May 3rd) for our young adult offering
this summer-Episcopal Youth Connection. Youth ages 16-20 are invited to
apply to join us on a 10 day trip to El Salvador. We will get to know
Salvadorian youth, live and work at the Diocesan retreat center and learn
about the culture of El Salvador. All the information an applicant would
need can be found on our website at:
http://www.er-d.org/waystogive_36773_ENG_HTM.htm It's going to be a fun
week full of worship, fellowship and growth. We still have a few places
left and would love to have one of your members come with us. I apologize
that we did not send this to college chaplaincies earlier. Please call with
any questions. Blessings for a happy Eastertide! –Kedron
