Greetings!

 

I suspect it is crunch time, as I know lots of folks who are pushing to get
things done before the Thanksgiving break.  Be sure to take care of
yourself!

 

We had a super time at Neil Riley's presentation "Hobbits, Dragons, and the
Christian Experience" at the Lory Center North Ballroom last night!  He'll
be back on Monday, Dec 5, with "A Lion, a Witch, and a Wardrobe to Christian
Virtue", focusing on the work of CS Lewis.  7 PM in the North Ballroom
again.  We had room for more last night, be sure not to miss the next one.

 

So you think everyone will be on hiatus for Thanksgiving?  Well, we will be
having services at St Paul's just in case you're around.  7 PM on Wednesday,
Nov 23, we'll hold a Thanksgiving Eve Eucharist with music.  And on
Thanksgiving Day at 10 AM, we'll do the same.  Remember, "Eucharist" is
Greek for "Thanksgiving".

 

The Tuesday night Bible Study resumes on Nov 29 at Gwyneth's place in Rams
Pointe.  Call her at 481-6436 for details.  Begins at 7 PM.

 

Our next monthly dinner @ St Paul's will be on Sunday, Dec 4, beginning at
5:30 PM.  Home-cookin' (any requests?) and we'll make & bake & decorate
Christmas cookies afterwards.  Call the church office at 482-2668 to make
your reservation.

 

God & Coffee was small but fun this past Tuesday!  We'll get together again
on Tuesday, Dec 6 @ 9:30 AM in the lobby of the CSU Library.  Come on by -
I'll wear my collar.

 

Don't forget the Exam Week Open House at the Church.  7 - 11 PM every
evening Dec 11-14 (Sunday thru Wednesday).  Quiet study space, snacks, an
open church & a break-room.
